Terms of Service

Last updated: April 2026

1. Acceptance of terms

These Terms of Service apply to Social Poster - Lexerlabs ("Social Poster - Lexerlabs", "the Service", "we", "us", or "our"). By accessing or using Social Poster - Lexerlabs you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the service.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old (or 16 in the European Economic Area) to use Social Poster - Lexerlabs. By using the service you represent that you meet this requirement and that you have the legal capacity to enter into these terms.

3. What Social Poster - Lexerlabs does

Social Poster - Lexerlabs is a tool you operate to compose a single piece of content and publish it to your own social-media accounts (Facebook Pages, Instagram Business accounts, YouTube channels, TikTok). We act as a tool, not a publisher; the content remains yours.

4. Account creation

You create a Social Poster - Lexerlabs account by signing in with Google. We do not require a password — authentication is delegated to Google. You are responsible for keeping your Google account secure.

5. Your responsibilities

  • You must own, or be authorised to manage, every social media account you connect to Social Poster - Lexerlabs.
  • You are solely responsible for all content you publish through Social Poster - Lexerlabs and for compliance with each destination platform's rules and applicable law.
  • You will not use Social Poster - Lexerlabs to publish content that is illegal, hateful, harassing, sexually explicit involving minors, infringes intellectual property rights, contains malware, or violates the policies of any destination platform.
  • You will not attempt to circumvent rate limits, abuse the publishing API, scrape data from other users, or use Social Poster - Lexerlabs to send spam.
  • You will keep your Social Poster - Lexerlabs login (Google account) secure and notify us immediately if you suspect unauthorised access.

6. Content ownership and license

You retain all ownership rights to the content you upload and publish through Social Poster - Lexerlabs. By using Social Poster - Lexerlabs you grant us a limited, non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to host, transmit, and submit your content to the destination platforms you select, solely for the purpose of providing the service. This license terminates when you delete the content or close your account.

7. Platform terms apply

Publishing through Social Poster - Lexerlabs does not exempt you from each destination platform's own terms. By using Social Poster - Lexerlabs you also agree to and remain bound by:

Destination platforms may rate-limit, suspend, restrict reach of, or remove your content; Social Poster - Lexerlabs has no control over those decisions.

8. Token storage and security

When you connect a social platform account, that platform issues OAuth tokens to Social Poster - Lexerlabs. We store those tokens in our database and use them only to perform the publishing actions you request. If you suspect a token has been compromised, disconnect the account from the Accounts page (which deletes our copy) and revoke the token on the platform side.

9. Service availability

We provide Social Poster - Lexerlabs "as is" and "as available" with no uptime guarantee. We do our best to keep the service running, but we may pause, modify, or discontinue any part of the service at any time, especially while it remains in early access. We are not liable for posts that fail to publish due to platform outages, rate limits, or upstream API changes.

10. Termination

You may stop using Social Poster - Lexerlabs at any time and delete your account by contacting [email protected] — see the Privacy Policy for the deletion procedure.

We may suspend or terminate your access if you violate these terms, abuse the service, or place the service at risk. We will give reasonable notice unless immediate action is required.

11. DMCA / copyright

If you believe content published via Social Poster - Lexerlabs infringes your copyright, send a written notice to [email protected] with: (1) your contact information, (2) identification of the copyrighted work, (3) the URL of the infringing post on the destination platform, (4) a statement under penalty of perjury that you have a good-faith belief the use is unauthorised, and (5) your physical or electronic signature.

Note that posts published through Social Poster - Lexerlabs live on the destination platform; takedown there must follow that platform's procedures. We will assist by providing user identification when legally required.

12. Disclaimers

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Social Poster - Lexerlabs makes no warranties — express, implied, or statutory — including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, or accuracy of data. Use of the service is at your own risk.

13. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Social Poster - Lexerlabs, its operators, employees, and contractors are not liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, special, or exemplary damages, including lost profits, lost revenue, lost data, or business interruption, arising from your use of (or inability to use) the service. Total cumulative liability for any claim is limited to the fees you have paid us in the prior 12 months — currently zero for the Free tier.

14. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold Social Poster - Lexerlabs harmless from any claims, losses, damages, or expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising from: (a) the content you publish through the service, (b) your violation of these terms, (c) your violation of any destination platform's terms, or (d) your infringement of any third-party right.

15. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction in which the operator of Social Poster - Lexerlabs is established, without regard to its conflict-of-laws principles. Any dispute arising under or relating to these terms will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of that jurisdiction.

16. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms; for material changes we will update the "Last updated" date and notify connected users by email at least 30 days before the change takes effect. Continued use of the service after the effective date constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
